TVS Motor Company has launched Apache RTR 160 2V in Bangladesh. The motorcycle has been sold on the Indian market for many years. Previously, this TVS released Raider 125 in Bangladesh. The manufacturer did not make any changes to the motorcycle for the foreign market. It still has the same engine and looks the same cosmetically.

The 159.7cc 4-stroke single cylinder engine is an air-cooled square engine. It has a 2-valve head with a single overhead camshaft. The engine produces 14.14 HP of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 13.03 Nm of maximum torque at 6,750 rpm. Works with a 5-speed gearbox. The Apache RTR 160 2V can reach a top speed of 110 km / h.

The motorcycle is equipped with GTT or Glide Through technology, allowing the ECU to automatically increase RPM when the motorcycle is in traffic. This reduces the risk of the engine stalling. There is also a single-channel anti-lock brake system available to prevent the front wheel from locking.

Braking is handled by a 270 mm diameter flap disc at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. The motorcycle gets a kick and an electric starter. The TVS uses 17 inch rims with a 90/90 tire at the front and a 110/80 tire at the rear. Fortunately, the tires are tubeless, which reduces the risk of punctures.

Suspension is via telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers with 105mm of travel at the front and inverted gas shock absorbers at the rear. The Apache RTR 160 2V frame is a double rocker unit.

TVS uses a digital instrument cluster with an analogue tachometer. The instrument cluster also shows a lap time recorder and a maximum speed indicator. There are LED daytime running lights at the front and an LED rear combination lamp at the rear.
