1. Peak moments of the 1st season of the Vampire Academy: The Accident

The first peak moment is during Vampire Academy season 1 episode 1. This is obviously an accident that changes everything for Lissa and Rose.

This moment begins the plot and sets the plot events in motion. Without this accident, Lissa and Rose would have had completely different experiences.

Both main characters were somewhat sheltered for the protection of Lissa’s parents. Their loss and the alleged loss of Andre changes everything for the heroes, emotionally and externally.

The loss of Lissa’s parents and the alleged loss of Andre saw Lissa advance as the last member of the Dragomir family. And Rose, being her best friend and carer, must also grow up.

Of course, the accident also causes Lissa to bring Rose back, creating a bond between them and causing Rose to be kissed in the shadows. Without an accident, Lissa could take ages to discover her Spirit abilities, not to mention she and Rose wouldn’t have the special connection they have.

2. The Best Moments of Season 1 of the Vampire Academy: Lissa is voted the next Moroi Queen for the first time

This peak moment also occurs during Vampire Academy season 1 episode 1. This is when the queen announces at the party that she wants Lissa to be her successor.

This is a big moment, not only for Lissa who is shocked to become the next queen, but also for Rose. After all, if Lissa is going to be Queen, Rose will either be sent or she will have a difficult task as her Keeper.

In addition, Rose feels all of Lissa’s emotions when the Moroi Queen makes this announcement. This moment shows a special bond between two friends.

Before that, the Queen calls Rose to ask about Lissa. This conversation likely leads the Queen to make this decision, showing how Lissa and Rose’s fates are intertwined.

During this conversation, Rose praises Lissa’s kindness and compassion, which are good qualities for a ruler.

3. The Best Moments of Season 1 of the Vampire Academy: Attack of the Strigoi in St. Jude’s

This peak moment occurs in Vampire Academy season 1 episode 3. This moment changes everything, not only for Rose and Lissa, but also for the Moroi and Dhampirs.

As a result of this attack, many Dhampir Rangers are killed. This makes everyone around us, including Rose, even more valuable to the Moroi.

In addition, Lissa’s two second cousins were killed in this attack. As a result, Lissa loses her quorum and cannot be a Council member or Queen of the Dominion.

Christian is coping with the aftermath of this attack, too, especially since his parents were driving it. She begins to receive “gifts” from her striga parents.

This attack is tragic for the entire Dominion, especially for characters that viewers know and love.

Highlights of Season 1 of the Vampire Academy: Lissa learns about the existence of Spirit

This peak moment also occurs during Vampire Academy season 1 episode 3. Christian finds Lissa in Death Watch and tells her about the existence of the fifth element, the Spirit.

This moment leads to many others, both big and small. Lissa, knowing about the existence of the Spirit, is a blessing and a curse.

It is a blessing because it knows it has magic, but it is also a curse because of the negative effects of using the Spirit. Not to mention, it causes a lot of pain for Lissa.

Without the Spirit at the Specialization Ceremony, she would have specialized in one of the other four elements. Without the Spirit, Christian wouldn’t feel the need to break up with her on the Death Watch to protect her.

Liss’s knowledge of the existence of Spirit also leads to her wanting to learn more about her mysterious powers which is her constant search all the time Vampire Academy season 1.

5. Highlights of Season 1 of the Vampire Academy: Mikhail turns into a Striga and Rose kills Mikhail’s Striga.

This peak moment occurs during the first episode of Season 5 of the Vampire Academy. Rose and the other novices are about to fight one striga, and Mikhail comes to judge them.

However, Mikhail returns to Team Bravo’s camp to find his fellow Guardians killed by the strigoi. The striga also turns Mikhail into a striga.

This moment causes a continuous chain reaction. Rose, for example, is terrified of Mikhail’s death, especially since she doesn’t want to kill her friend and another Ranger.

This leads her to search for Mikhail’s family, including his sister Sasha. Dimitri is hiding Rose, who ordered Sasha to run away from the other Guardians.

In the final episode, Dimitri is arrested for treason and locked up awaiting the verdict of the Dominion Queen. Sonya is also shocked at the loss of Mikhail, which leads her to heal her father, Victor, not wanting to lose another man she loves.

He heals Victor multiple times and eventually the Darkness of Spirit becomes too great. She herself changes the strigoi.

6. Highlights of the Vampire Academy Season 1: Lissa meets Adrian Ivashkov

This peak moment occurs during Vampire Academy season 1 episode 6. In her quest to understand her Spirit’s abilities, Lissa goes to Lisbon to meet the owner of the painting of St. Włodzimierz, whom she saw at home.

This owner is Adrian Iwaszkow. He shows her his private collection, in which he sees other abilities of the Spirit, including dreamwalking.

Adrian then appears in her dreams. Lissa asks if he is also a Spirit user.

It confirms that it is. Adrian is the one who encourages Lissa to find a writer who has been declared a heretic by the Moroi Church.

She is also the first Ghost user Lissa meets after learning about her abilities. He is the only Ghost user Lissa knows is a Ghost user.

He discovers it almost immediately, as he learns about Sonya’s abilities after the latter has already turned into a striga.

7. The Best Moments of Season 1 of the Vampire Academy: Rose and Dmitri Kiss

This peak moment also occurs during Vampire Academy season 1 episode 6. At the end of the episode they kiss after Dimitri gives Rose her Molnija sign.

This is the beginning of their relationship and the end of tensions between the two heroes. This is a satisfaction for the audience who most likely took root in such a result.

Ultimately, however, it is bittersweet for the heroes. This moment also leads to others.

This leads to Rose and Dimitri sneaking in, the two getting closer to each other escorting Lissa and Adrian to the heretical writer and eventually breaking them up as Dimitri refuses to get in between Rose and her Guardian duty. This also likely leads Rose to frustration with Lissa.

Her relationship with Dimitri ended because he did not want to enter into their friendship. However, when Lissa tells Rose that he doesn’t want her as a Ranger, it’s understandably annoying.

Rose had sacrificed a lot, including Dimitri, to be Lissa’s Keeper. She also fights Dimitri during Episode 8, partly because she cares so much about him and wants him to hear what she has to say.

Even in the latest episode, Rose and Dimitri’s relationship plays a role when she visits him.

8. Highlights of Season 1 of the Vampire Academy: Lissa learns the truth about St. Włodzimierz and her ties with Rose

This peak moment occurs during Vampire Academy season 1 episode 7. When Lissa and Adrian visit the heretical writer, they discover that Vladimir has conveyed to Anna some of the Darkness of the Spirit through their bond.

As Lissa leaves, the writer tells her about how Vladimir and Anna’s bond was formed, and about the meaning of the words shadow kiss. Vladimir’s final sin was to bring Anna back to life thanks to the abilities of the Spirit.

This created a bond between them. The same goes for Lissa and Rose.

After the accident when Rose died saving her best friend, Lissa brought her back. This creates a bond between them, causing Rose to kiss the shadow as she died and returned.

This moment of learning the truth about St. Włodzimierz is crucial for Lissa and Rose. Lissa feels that St. Vladimir is just another predatory Moroi and he doesn’t want to be like that with Rose.

As a result, she decides not to have Rose as her Guardian. Understandably frustrating for Rose.

However, it makes sense for Lissa to make this choice independently, based on what she is learning. Lissa doesn’t want to hurt her best friend; therefore he decides to avoid her.

This leads the two friends to argue for a while, although they eventually make up. Lissa comes close to fully understanding the secrets of her Spirit abilities.

9. Highlights of Season 1 of the Vampire Academy: Lissa is named Queen’s successor for the second time

This last peak occurs during Vampire Academy season 1 episode 9. Lissa goes to the current Moroi Queen and tells her he has a proposition for her.

The Queen is then seen announcing Lissa as the heir to the throne. The current queen will remain ruler until Lissa is ready to assume the role.

Not only is this an important moment for Lissa, it leads to consistency even in Episode 9 itself. These consequences will most likely continue to be felt in the season finale. Vampire Academy season 1.

One such consequence is that Tatiana sheds her covers at St. Vladimir, allowing the Strigoi to infiltrate the province. Tatiana will likely say she is innocent, but hopefully Lissa or one of the other characters will find out the truth.

There is a definite possibility, especially since Andre is probably alive, held only by Tatiana, that Lissa herself could discover and expose Tatiana. However, Vampire Academy fans will have to wait for the finale to know for sure.
