Rainfall is also expected in northern districts on Tuesday, October 11, with yellow alert issued in Gulbarga, Yodgir, Raichur, Koppal, Gadag, Belagavi, Ballari, Chitradurga, Chikmagalur and Chikkaballapur districts. Yellow alert is in place for Gulbarga, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal, Gadag, Belagavi, Tumakuru, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Bengaluru Rural and Bengaluru Urban districts on Wednesday.
Uttara Kannada, Shivamogga, Bidar, Kalaburgi, Dakshina Kannada, Hassan, Kodagu, Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Ramanagara, Bengaluru rural and Bengaluru urban areas received deficient rainfall during the week ending October 5, according to the IMD bulletin. compared to normal. Bengaluru has been witnessing rain and cold weather for the past few weeks. HAL station recorded a maximum temperature of 27.8°C and a minimum temperature of 18.6°C, while Bengaluru International Airport recorded maximum and minimum temperatures of 28.6°C and 21.6°C.
The IMD said Bengaluru will witness cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thundershowers for the next few days. Maximum and minimum temperatures can be around 26°C and 20°C respectively.
