RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Reno Punk Rock Flea Market, also known as the Flea, kicked off its first ever holiday market on Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November 20th. The two-day community event at The Generator makerspace features 16 bands, food trucks, children’s crafts, a skate ramp, car rides and more.

“I know people are like, ‘Oh, I’m not a punk, I can’t come to the Punk Rock Flea,’ but we sure don’t care. Everybody’s got punk in their heart, you know, if you’re a rebel in any way, if you’re weird, if you’re different in any way this is the place for you,” said Jessi Sprocket Janusee, Reno Co-Founder of Punk Rock Flea.

The Flea features over 150 local vendors selling art and other one-of-a-kind items. The festivities take place daily from 10 am to 6 pm, all ages are welcome and children under 12 are free and admission is $5 pre-sale, $7 at the door. Proceeds from the celebration will benefit local community non-profit and makerspace The Generator, along with the participating bands.
